The Calendar™
A living guide for women who want to move through life with greater rhythm, awareness, and intention.
The Calendar™ was created to support women in reconnecting with the natural rhythms of life — through the seasons, the year, the month, the week, and the day.
Rather than constantly pushing forward, it offers a more grounded and sustainable way to live, reflect, realign and grow.
Rooted in rhythm. Designed for modern life.
Living in rhythm with the seasons
Each season carries its own energy, invitations, lessons, and rhythms.
In nature, there are seasons for growth, movement, blooming, release, rest, and renewal.
Nothing in nature blooms all year.
Nothing is constantly producing.
— and neither should we.
The Calendar™ is designed to help women move through life with greater awareness — not by constantly pushing forward, but by learning when to move, when to pause, when to reflect, and when to restore.
Weaving together seasonal guidance, embodiment practices, evolving yearly themes, and wisdom traditions rooted in cyclical living, The Calendar™ creates a supportive structure that can be integrated into everyday life.
Rather than following pressure, perfection, or constant productivity, it invites a more conscious and sustainable way of living.
One that honours both growth and rest.
Movement and stillness.
Ambition and wellbeing.
Why The Calendar™ Begins in December
Most calendars begin in January —
in the middle of Winter.
This system begins in December,
at the beginning of Winter.
Because the feminine cycle does not begin with action.
It begins with rest.
With inward attention.
With listening before movement.
December marks:
• the beginning of Winter
• a natural turning inward
• restoration of the nervous system
• the quieter space where clarity begins to form
This creates a different kind of starting point.
Not pressure.
Not momentum.
But awareness.
The Macro and Micro Rhythm
One of the core principles of Yoga Your Season™ is that
the larger rhythms of life are reflected in the smaller ones.
The year and the day mirror each other.
• Winter ↔ Evening / Night
Rest, stillness, inward reflection
• Spring ↔ Morning
Emergence, awakening, new energy
• Summer ↔ Midday
Expression, movement, outward focus
• Autumn ↔ Afternoon
Completion, refinement, preparation for rest
This means:
you are not only moving through seasons across the year —
you are moving through them every single day.
A quiet evening becomes Winter.
A fresh start in the morning becomes Spring.
The rhythms of nature already exist within you.
The Calendar™ simply helps you notice them.
This connection between macro rhythms (the year)
and micro rhythms (the day)
is what makes the system both structured and deeply intuitive.
You Are Never Late
You do not need to begin at the start of the calendar.
You begin where you are.
If you pause,
step away,
lose rhythm,
or need to begin again —
you simply return.
The Calendar™ will meet you where you are.
The system is not static.
It is continuous.
It does not require perfection,
pressure,
or catching up.
Because Yoga Your Season™ is not about doing more.
It is about learning to move differently.
More consciously.
More sustainably.
More in rhythm with yourself and with life.
Not about becoming someone else —
but about reconnecting with who you already are.
The Calendar™ 2025 / 2026
The Fire Horse moves at the speed of truth.
This cycle begins in Winter —
during the final phase of the Wood Snake year.
Before the Fire Horse arrives,
the Snake asks for shedding.
Old identities.
Old patterns.
Old ways of moving through life.
The Wood Snake does not rush.
It observes.
Refines.
Listens.
Winter therefore becomes a quieter threshold between cycles.
A season for:
nervous system restoration
reflection
truth-telling
and preparing for aligned movement
Because once the Fire Horse arrives,
the energy changes quickly.
By February,
the Fire Horse enters.
And with it comes momentum.
Movement.
Passion.
Direction.
Visibility.
Action.
This is not a passive year.
The Fire Horse wants forward motion.
But the deeper lesson of this cycle
is not simply movement —
it is focused movement.
Not scattered energy.
Not constant reacting.
Not trying to do everything at once.
Direction matters this year.
Clarity matters this year.
The invitation is to decide.
Trust yourself.
And move.
Even imperfect movement creates momentum.
Indecision does not.
Spring becomes the season of initiation.
This is where the Fire Horse energy begins building speed.
New ideas emerge quickly.
Energy returns.
Momentum increases.
But Spring asks:
What deserves your energy?
Because the challenge of the Fire Horse
is not lack of movement —
it is excess movement.
Too many directions.
Too much stimulation.
Too much fire without grounding.
This season therefore asks for:
focus,
clarity,
and intentional action.
Harness the horse —
or the fire may consume more energy than it creates.
Summer amplifies everything.
This is where the Fire Horse becomes fully visible.
Confidence grows.
Expression expands.
Movement accelerates.
This can be a powerful season for:
creativity
leadership
visibility
expansion
courageous action
But Summer also carries the strongest risk of burnout.
The nervous system can easily become overloaded
when movement is not balanced with recovery.
This is where rhythm becomes essential.
Rest is not the opposite of movement.
It is what sustains it.
By Autumn,
the energy begins to mature.
The Fire Horse is still moving —
but with more awareness.
This season asks:
What is sustainable?
What is truly aligned?
What is worth continuing?
Autumn becomes a season of refinement.
Not every opportunity needs to be followed.
Not every spark needs to become a fire.
Discernment becomes wisdom.
As the Calendar™ approaches its final phase in late Autumn and early Winter,
the energy softens again.
What began as movement
becomes integration.
The cycle closes with greater awareness,
clarity,
and self-trust.
Not because everything was controlled perfectly —
but because rhythm was honoured along the way.
And that is the deeper lesson of this year:
Forward movement does not require self-abandonment.
You do not need to burn out to move forward.
You can move powerfully —
and still remain connected to yourself.
“Before the Fire Horse arrives,
the Snake asks for shedding.”
“But Spring asks:
What deserves your energy?”
“Summer amplifies everything. This is where the Fire Horse becomes fully visible.”
“Autumn becomes a season of refinement.”
