Weekly Reflections from the Yoga Your Season Calendar
Autumn • October • Week 3
Theme: Action
Intention: I act in alignment with what I know
Mantra: “I choose what is aligned.”
October 12 - 18, 2026
Welcome
Hello again.
October has been asking us to move gradually.
First, to acknowledge what is true.
Then, to notice where boundaries might be needed — where our energy needs protecting, where something needs more space, or where a yes may need to become a no.
This week, the movement continues.
From seeing.
To choosing.
And now, gently, towards action.
Not action for the sake of doing more.
But action that begins with what we already know.
Where We Are in the Calendar
We are now halfway through October — the month of Truth in the Fröja Yoga Calendar.
September invited clarity.
The beginning of October asked us to acknowledge that clarity and begin creating boundaries around what matters.
Now truth asks to become a little more visible in how we live.
The Calendar calls this week Aligned Action.
It is a movement from knowing towards doing.
From recognising what feels aligned to beginning, in some small way, to live accordingly.
Not everything needs to change.
Sometimes one conscious step is enough. Seasonal Letter Production Flow…
Theme of the Week
Action
Action can easily become another form of pressure.
Once we realise something needs to change, we may want to solve everything at once.
But perhaps aligned action feels different.
It doesn't begin with urgency.
It begins with clarity.
There may be something you have been thinking about for a while.
A conversation you know you need to have.
A decision you have been postponing.
Something you want to begin.
Or something you already know you need to stop doing.
This week isn't asking us to transform everything.
It simply asks whether one thing we know could begin to be reflected in one thing we do.
Weekly Intention
I act in alignment with what I know
There is often a space between knowing and acting.
Sometimes that space is useful.
We need time to understand what we feel, to consider our choices and to let clarity settle.
But sometimes we stay there longer than we need to.
Waiting for certainty.
Waiting for the perfect moment.
Waiting until we know exactly how everything will unfold.
Perhaps we don't always need to know that much.
We may only need to know the next step.
One email.
One conversation.
One decision.
One small change in how we use our time or energy.
Something that brings what we know a little closer to how we actually live.
Weekly Mantra
“I choose what is aligned.”
There is something grounding in the word choose.
It reminds us that alignment isn't only something we discover.
It is also something we participate in.
Through the things we say yes to.
The things we say no to.
Where we place our attention.
And the small decisions we make again and again.
Perhaps this mantra can accompany one simple question this week:
Does this move me closer to what I know is true?
Gentle Practice
If you want, choose one thing you already know.
Something that has become clear over the past few weeks.
Write it down.
Then ask yourself:
What is one small action that would bring what I know into how I live?
Keep the answer small.
Something possible.
Something you could actually do.
Then notice what happens when you imagine taking that step.
Perhaps there is energy.
Perhaps resistance.
Perhaps relief.
You don't need to force anything.
Just notice.
And when it feels right, take the step.
Closing
October began by asking us to see what is true.
Then to create space around that truth.
This week asks us to let some of it become visible in our lives.
Not through dramatic change.
But through choices.
One conversation.
One decision.
One step.
And once we begin to move, we also begin to learn.
Next week, the Calendar will invite us to look at what our actions have revealed — what is working, what isn't, and what might need adjusting.
For now, perhaps one aligned step is enough.
Until next week,
Anna
